Meaning
Slain, you will attain heaven; victorious, you will enjoy the earth. Therefore arise, son of Kuntī, resolved to fight. This verse closes Kṛṣṇa’s argument from a warrior’s duty and honour (2.31–2.37); the next verse turns to a deeper reason for acting, an even mind.
For children
Krishna says: “Whatever happens, it will be all right. So stand up, Arjuna, and be brave!”
Kṛṣṇa ends his practical argument (2.31–2.37) by calling Arjuna to rise and act with resolve.
