Meaning
One who is without attachment anywhere, who neither exults nor resents on meeting with this or that, good or bad, has wisdom firmly established. The point is not suppressed feeling but freedom from being driven by it.
For children
Krishna says: “A wise person doesn’t jump up and down too much when good things happen, or get very cross when bad things happen. They stay kind and steady.”
Kṛṣṇa continues describing the person of steady wisdom (2.55–2.72).
