Meaning

In that clarity, all sorrows come to an end for such a person; for one whose mind is serene, understanding soon becomes firmly established. Inner calm is presented as both the relief of suffering and the ground of clear judgement.

For children

Krishna says: “When your heart is calm, sad feelings melt away, and you can think clearly again.”

Continuing his description of the steady person, Kṛṣṇa shows how calm and clear understanding grow together.
