Meaning

Surrendering all actions to Me, with your mind on the Self, free from expectation and possessiveness, fight, your fever gone. The verse gathers the chapter into a devotional form: action offered to the Lord, without hope of reward or sense of ownership, frees one from the anxiety (jvara) that clouds the mind.

For children

Krishna says: “Give all your work to me as a gift. Don’t worry about what you will get. Then you can do your job calmly.”

Kṛṣṇa brings the teaching back to Arjuna’s situation: act, offering everything to him.
